Questions about freshwater tanks

Before you write about fish that are unwell: test ammonia and nitrite first. In a tank under two months old those two numbers explain most losses, and no email can substitute for them. For a problem that persists in a cycled tank, an aquatic veterinarian is the right destination — we do not give treatment protocols.
